I admit, WRAL News is more drama than news as they all are.

However, I know 2 personally and I have had interaction with a few WRAL staffers.

Greg Fishel is The Fish. What you see on TV is what he is like in person.

Debra Morgan does more for this community in a week than most of you do in your life.

Tara works with the SPCA all the time and cares for animals.

There used to be a time that if a woman is pregnant on TV they'd just do head shots. I for one like to see the end results.

    Congrats to Tara and family!

I'm like Carnac The Magnificent -- I see all, I know all. And I expound on all. It's what I do.

Getting a life is exactly my point: Why should any of this WRAL malarkey matter more than the joys of any other person? The only possible answer is that WRAL is using the personal joy of its employees as a marketing tool for its corporate purposes. Viewers who feel they have a real personal connection with these WRAL folks are fooling themselves and being duped by WRAL. I'm happy this person had a healthy baby, as I am with anyone. Beyond that, who cares?
