We all saw the Super Bowl commercials for Alexa and Google home, the voice-activated assistants that promise to make your life easier.

They’re some of the latest internet-connected devices welcomed into our homes..

So much of what we interact with all day is online! Smartphones, security cameras, baby monitors. But also door locks, lights, thermostats, DVRs, even video door bells.

The devices have a name: IoT, the Internet of Things. The industry is expected to explode in the next few years.

With so much connected online, hackers see it as a prime window of opportunity. Your privacy wide open?
