It amazes me that so many people can get into an argument over where this person was found. And they wander how people can murder or be murdered. I hope the argument about Town Limits and incorporated and unincorporated areas have been settled. I understand how some are confussed. The people that have only lived in towns and not out in the county don't interact as much with the Sheriff's Office and what they do.

"Ok so if it's not Knightdale please tell me what town this is? I need to know what town Massey Farm Rd is so when people ask me what town this happened in I can correctly tell them."---

    It's in unincorporated Wake County.

Sea, towns and cities only annex areas that bring in more tax monies than they cost to serve. MFR, just like Acres of Space and other areas, were left in the county for that reason. Why take on a drain on your Public Safety Department for not much tax revenue?

Massy Farm Road is in Knightdale, just NOT Town Limits!~ Why, not can't tell ya, who knows and who cares. NOT a good street to live on...too many bad things happen on that dirt road!

wcnc, thanks, I just made a simple statement, to correct the original report that the body was found in Knightdale, and I was besieged with all these folks posting that the body was found in Knightdale.

Good grief people.....Just because one's address says "Knightdale" does not mean said person lives inside the town limits...... So, this body was found in "Knightdale", however, it was not found in the town limits, therefore WCSO has the case.....Who cares about that when there is a dead person with a family and a murderer on the lose?

I know if someone I cared about was killed, I would much rather have the sheriff's office investigate as opposed to Knightdale...sorry guys. Since Wake Co. has more experience and resources than Knightdale...and again...it may be deemed East Wake Fire...but it is K-dale....someone needs to get off their "zoning" soapbox and focus on the real deal...a dead human being. FYI: My home was broken in to last week....I live in Wendell City Limits now....guess who showed up....CCBI, Wendell and Wake Co....DO TELL!

Well, wa4mjf, I'm sure glad that you shot down the address thing..... I think you have a "need to be right" complex. But seriously, this guy has died, he has a family, does it really matter where this happened? Oh, and there is a "alleged" murderer on the loose in the area, maybe you should be concerned about that instead.
