Investigators: Durham apartment intentionally set on fire - again
Posted May 17
Durham, N.C. — Durham fire investigators say someone intentionally started a fire early Wednesday at a vacant apartment on Oran Avenue, the second time the building has been burned in the last month.
Fire crews were called to the 4200 block of Oran Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. The fire was called in by a Durham County EMS unit dispatched to the area for a medical call.
No one was injured in the fire, and it was extinguished in less than 10 minutes, officials said.
No one has lived in the building since an early morning fire there on April 22. The April fire was also considered arson, officials said.
No arrests have been made in either investigation.
