Interactive: Tracking a slavery-based supply chain
The Associated Press identified two different shrimp peeling factories in Thailand where men, women and children were trapped, abused and forced to work for 16 hours a day. Reporters followed and filmed delivery trucks from one abusive factory, and interviewed rescued workers from another, so they could report the extent that the shrimp the slaves were forced to peel reached supply chains of American consumers.
