Information Center Opens to Guide Triangle Tourists

— The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau opened a visitor information center Thursday on Fayetteville Street.

The center, located inside the Raleigh City Museum, will provide visitors with information on restaurants, events and attractions throughout Wake County.

    I have not been downtown since I served jury duty. I am too afraid that I will break a Meeker ordinance and be fined 1000 dollars.

    I don't understand why they put it right smack dab in the middle of the city. It's not going to be easy to get to for visitors. Oh I forgot revitialization. Got to get those folks downtown one way or another.

    What downtown needs are more signs directing visitors BACK to I-40 from the capitol, convention center, and memorial auditorium.
