— The results of specialized DNA testing in the death of an 11-month-old Harnett County girl have delayed the indictment of the child's mother, who is accused of killing her.

Investigators discovered the body of 11-month-old Harmony Jade Creech in the attic of the child's home near Spring Lake in October after the child's mother, Johni Michelle Heuser, reported the child missing a day earlier.

Heuser, 25, who is charged with first-degree murder, has yet to be indicted while prosecutors wait for DNA test results from a Texas company examining the infant's skeletal remains.

Hurry up already! I am willing to bet she is locked up in solitary confinement, other women might just inflict their own feelings out on this baby killer.

The picture of the little girl is just heartbreaking. Seeing that beautiful little girl with her big bright eyes brought tears to my eyes. How can anyone be so cruel and harm a child so innocent? I hope this mother gets what she desrves. If it were up to me I'd put her to death ASAP!!!
