Increased Development Expected In Tropical System In The Atlantic

Florida Keys — An area of low pressure that is located about 650 miles east of the Cabo Verde Islands has been given a more favorable percent for development over the next 5 days.
As of now, the area of thunderstorms associated with this system remain disorganized but the National Weather Service Forecast office in the Florida Keys, Florida does suggest that environmental conditions are favorable for development over the next 5 days as it moves West at 5-10 miles per hour.
There is a 60% chance of development over the next 5 days.
Residents in Florida are urged to keep a watch on the system as it drifts further to the West over the next few days.
