Now in its fifth year, Bookmarked!, the annual celebration of reading, has some big changes planned.

This year, the event, set for Saturday, will move from Raleigh to the Cary Performance Green in downtown Cary. Proceeds from this year's event will not only support the Lucy Daniels Center, the region's largest and most comprehensive nonprofit provider of mental health services exclusively for children, it also will benefit Dorcas Ministries and the Cary Creative (reuse) Center.

Bookmarked! 2014 is 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday. The morning includes local "celebrity-heroes" reading books, music, games and crafts.

This year's celebrity heroes include Isa Garci, a Durham firefighter who will read in Spanish; Willa Brigham, entertainer and host of WRAL's "Smart Start Kids;" and Dionne Everett of the Wake County Sheriff's Office. They'll read books that are part of Lucy's Book Club, a free educational outreach program from the Lucy’s Daniels Center that supports healthy child social and emotional development and early reading skills.
