IMACS offers free math, computer enrichment classes

IMACS is offering some free opportunities to check out its math and computer programs for kids.

IMACS offers after-school and weekend mathematics enrichment classes that focus on logical thinking, mathematical reasoning and analytical skills. The hour-long class is for ages 5 to 12. The classes are taught in an engaging and fun way using games and other activities that kids enjoy.

The program also offers ongoing free trial classes for its computer enrichment/virtual robotics and computer science courses. Check the website for more information about those.

Here are the upcoming free math enrichment placement classes

Cary Academy in Cary, 1500 N Harrison Ave.
Monday, Jan. 27 at 4:30 p.m.

Trinity Academy of North Raleigh, 10224 Baileywick Rd.
Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 3:10 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Extraordinary Ventures in Chapel Hill, 200 S. Elliott Rd.
Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 3:15 p.m.

United Methodist Church in Southern Village (Chapel Hill), 800 Market St.
Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 3:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.
