After 11 weeks, Ice Raleigh will close out the season this weekend. But before the ice is gone, they'll be celebrating with some special events this week, including stroller skating.

The downtown Raleigh rink on City Plaza on Fayetteville Street is open daily. During stroller skating, moms, dads and caregivers can take their little ones out on the ice and push them around on the stroller.

As you can see from the picture, I did this when my younger one was very little (that baby is a first grader now!). If you're not a strong skater, it's totally fine because the stroller essentially becomes your walker. It was fun!

Stroller skating is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday. The cost is $12 per stroller. The rink closes on Sunday. Admission is typically $10 per person, including skate rental and $5 for kids four years and younger.
