A nice sheet of ice has covered the road in front of my house, which means school is closed and we're homebound for the day.
Over the six years that I've been doing Go Ask Mom, we've had plenty of these ice and snow days. And during that time, I've written a lot about activities that you can do from home. I've compiled some of them in this gallery of posts, where you can find crafts, recipes and indoor activities that you can do with your kids.
If you're lucky like my family and aren't worried about your next meal, whether you have a winter coat and if your heat will stay on all day (assuming the power doesn't go out!), let me highlight one post with activities that can keep you all busy and help out lots of people in the process: Helping those who struggle not just on snow days, but every day.
