I-40 lanes reopen after Johnston County crash

— All lanes on Interstate 40 west near N.C. Highway 42 in Johnston County reopened around 11 a.m. Wednesday after a tractor-trailer crash, authorities said.

The tractor-trailer went down an embankment, damaged a guard rail and leaked fuel around 7 a.m. The driver might have sustained injuries, officials said.

    When this type of story is written they should include the direction of the lanes effected--not just write 'crash--stopped traffic in the right lane.' That is ridiculous!

    I had hoped they would report on how the driver is doing.... I was there when the rescues left. If he isnt badly hurt he is a blessed man..... I think the trees is all that stopped him.
