I-40 East wreck causes lane closures in Cary

Cary, N.C. — A wreck on Interstate 40 East at Harrison Avenue in Cary caused lane closures Sunday afternoon.
The wreck was caused when a vehicle driven by Anissa Belalia, 21, of Raleigh, hydroplaned and was hit by another car, pushed it into the guardrail.
No one was injured. Belalia was charged with exceeding a safe speed.
