Today is the start of HungerFreeNC, a week-long event to raise money and awareness about people who do not have enough food to eat right here in North Carolina. The event includes a documentary about hunger, a day-long MEDIAthon on TV, radio and web to raise money for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, our non-profit partner and more.
If you head to the main page for the HungerFreeNC movement found at the link above, you'll find ways to help including donating money and food and volunteering. You'll also find information to share with those in need.
