Hundreds of portable toilets catch fire in Cumberland County

About 200 portable toilets caught fire in rural Cumberland County Saturday morning, Fayetteville fire crews said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — About 200 portable toilets caught fire in rural Cumberland County Saturday morning, Fayetteville fire crews said. 

Crews responding to a fire call at a storage facility on Stoney Point Road, near the Hoke County line, found the fire shortly after 4 a.m.

Crews weren't sure what started the large outside fire, but it was extinguished about 7 a.m. 

No other information was released.
