How House members from NC voted on Affordable Care Act repeal
The proposal would replace the Affordable Care Act, sometimes called "Obamacare. The U.S. House voted 217-213 to approve a revised version of the ACHA, which would replace the Affordable Care Act, sometimes called "Obamacare." Some of the changes include eliminating the requirement that individuals obtain health insurance, swapping premium subsidies for lower-income people with age-based tax credits and capping federal support for state Medicaid programs. States also could opt out of a requirement that insurers cover patients with pre-existing conditions.
