FLORISSANT, MO — A growing event in the St. Louis area is taking place on Wednesday.

The 15th annual Amnesty Day, hosted by Better Family Life, will be held from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley.

Anyone with an outstanding warrant can show up and have it cleared without fear of being arrested.

"Instead of avoiding it, just face it head on because if you don't have your license, I had problem getting jobs when they run your background, you have all these fines so you can't do better until you address the problem and address the issue," said Chakquiese Johnson who has benefited from the program.

This year, Better Family Life is expecting the largest number of municipalities to participate with more than 60.
