Unusually cold weather blasted Houston, Texas early this week, promting calls to not just a few Houston heating contractors. Temperatures are expected to rise on Thursday to somewhere around the 50's, according to The Houston Chronicle. Weather Underground (a site you should read if you don't already) predicts predicts that the temperature in Houston will rise to 75 degrees F. on Saturday. Rare Texas snow was reported in the Texas panhandle, though it melted quickly.
