Raleigh, N.C. — No one was injured in a fire that damaged a two-story home in north Raleigh late Sunday.
A neighbor called 911 to report the fire at 7908 Old Deer Trail about 11:15 p.m. The Raleigh Fire Department arrived to find flames showing on the first floor and shooting through the roof.
The fire, which was brought under control in about 45 minutes, was ruled accidental. It destroyed about 60 percent of the home and displaced the two occupants.
Smoke detectors were present in the home, investigators said.
