House budget subcommittee documents
Documents laying out the House budget distributed Friday morning are available online.
Posted — UpdatedSenators rolled out their budget all at once earlier this year. House budget-writers have sent pieces of their spending plan to budget subcommittees that began meeting Friday morning. Those budget subcommittees have the ability to adjust details of the spending plan before it is recombined into a single document over the weekend.
There will almost certainly be some details that will surface in the full budget document over the weekend that aren't apparent in the measures reviewed by subcommittees Friday. But if you're looking for a good overview of what's on the table, the documents distributed Friday morning are available online:
- Appropriations Subcommittee on Education. Includes information on K-12 education, community colleges and the university system.
