— A man was found dead in his residence at 1721 St. Albans Drive in Raleigh early Monday.

Police said they responded to a report of gunshots just before 4 a.m. and found Adrian Levon Pugh, 32. Police did not say how he died but are calling the case a homicide.

A witness called 911 to report hearing three or four gunshots and seeing a car heading away from the area, according to a recording released Monday.

A neighbor said there was a party at the residence Sunday night, with people drinking and loud music.

An employee of a nearby business said he was surprised to learn of the homicide.

"This neighborhood is usually pretty quiet," Matthew Manly said. "There ain't really anything that goes on."

I'll donate my next paycheck to the charity of your choice if it turns out the gun that was used in this shooting was registered to the person who fired it. The only catch is...you have to donate yours if it wasn't. Deal?

It's not just the laws. Any person who is so morally bankrupt as to take the life of another person is nothing but evil on legs. Whether you are religious or not, a person should have a deep rooted sense of right and wrong for things like this.

Guns aren't out of control people and society are out of control. They don't think laws apply to them, with our government and so called leaders underminding the authority of law enforcement I can think of a better time or reason to be a gun owner!
