Holly Springs man indicted for making bomb threats

— A Wake County man was indicted Wednesday for making bomb threats to a women's shelter where his wife had gone for help.

According to police, Jonathan Jeffcoat, 31, of Holly Springs, called Harbor, Inc., in Smithfield on Jan. 17 and Jan. 19. He threatened to blow the shelter up if his ex-wife, who he believed to be there, did not call him back.

Police believe the threats were false.

    Poor journalism - just simple editing and the article would have been attention getting, more informative and most of all, would not have caused the reader to focus on the "effect" rather than the "cause".

    Um, since the threats were made in January, and the place hasn't exploded yet - that's a pretty good guess!
