I was one of the first people to arrive on the scene & a guy on a bike that actually witnessed everything happen said the guy that got hit was acting very erratic before the kid hit him. He said he yelled at the kid to stop b/c he noticed the guy about to run into the middle of the street but it was too late. It was awful! Although I agree the kid should not have been drinking & driving, I'm not sure this could have been prevented. By the appearance of the victims outfit, he did not appear to be a Target employee either. My prayers go out to the guy that passed, the kid that hit him, everyone who witnessed or tried to help & all families!! A true tragedy! !

A friend of mine is married to one of the first responders. He most likely was walking home from work at the new Target center area and was crossing the road to get home.

He should be charged with murder.

Seeing he was under 21 the consumption of alcohol was a crime. Killing someone during the comission of a crime should result in 2nd degree murder or manslaughter at the least.

I was wondering the same. I never see anyone walking along 55 in that area.

So, what are the details?? Was the pedestrian walking down the side of the road, in the road, crossing the road?
