Regular old baked. Love homemade rolls and stuffing with it!

Roasted turkey stuffed with 1 each cut orange, apple, onion and your favorite fresh herbs.

My fav way to prepare my TG turkey is as follows. Put onions, carrots, apple slices, garlic cloves, salt, pepper, sage, cinnamon stick in the cavity. Melt butter and pour over the bird, add ground pepper, roast till tender. My fav side dish is homemade oyster dressing. Jacqueline Jones

Our favorite turkey is fried. I make my own injection with Terriyaki sauce, honey and pineapple juice. It gives a great flavor and the turkey is sooo moist. My favorite side is green bean casserole and for dessert I make my grandmother's yum-yum cake....Its a family tradition!

I always cook the turkey breast side down. And the dressing my mom used to make. I will be making it this year without her advice as this will be my 1st Thanksgiving without her.

My fav side dish is macaroni & cheese!

i my turkey with just better and salt

Without a doubt frying it!

FRIED!!!!!! Each year injected with a different sauce/spice combo.

Spinach Casserole and the turkey seasoned with Puertorican spices. Muy rico!!!!!

My favorite side dish for thanksgiving is homemade mac and cheese with lots of extra, extra sharp cheese!

Sweet potato souffle with pecan crumble topping is my favorite side dish. Broccoli casserole is a close second.

In the smoker!!!

Brined and roasted (with a meat thermometer so it doesn't overcook) is my favorite. You miss part of the experience if you don't have the aroma of roast turkey in the house (like Christmas without the pine scent!). Fried turkey is a very close second though. Candied sweet potatoes are a favorite side dish.

Always cook a turkey in a turkey cooking bag, they are genius! Keep it moist and you don't have to keep going back to baste the darn thing!

bath raw turkey in mayo- will give it crispy skin after fried

Our favorite side dish is sweet potato casserole. Mash boiled potatoes with milk, egg, sugar and butter. Top with brown sugar, butter and pecans. We can not live without.

Last year I cooked my turkey in a turkey bag with chicken seasonings. It turned out great. This year I will be trying a new cream of corn recipe in the crock pot. HOpefully I will get rave reviews too!!!!

My favorite turkey side is homemade stuffing topped with lots of turkey gravy!!!!

My favorite side dish is dressing/stuffing. I absolutely love it!

The best way to cook your turkey for Thanksgiving is filled with sausage stuffing and baked to a golden brown. Butter the skin thoroughly before baking, make sure to baste it often in it's own juices for best flavor!!

I put my turkey in a big roaster overnight breast down with a couple sticks of butter & mash butter over top of turkey, then I salt & pepper it & leave it to cook. It comes out so good & juicy. I promise you will not eat dry meat at my house for thanksgiving.

I love when my husband deep fries the turkey. It is so moist and good. Our favorite side dish is sweet potato casserole. We do live in Johnston County you know.

My favorite way to cook a turkey is to coat it in butter than cover it with bacon. It must be completely covered. I usually use three packs of bacon. When it comes out of the oven it is a fight to see who can get to it first. The bacon keeps the turkey from drying out and gives it a amazing flavor. Who doesnt love bacon!

My favorite turkey side dish is cranberry salad. Love the two flavors together. Can't wait til next Thursday !!

The best turkey I have cooked I did upside down, not on purpose though :)...turned out so moist...I love homemade whipped mashed potatoes (could make a meal on them all by theirself!)

Love to inject cajun seasoning under the skin and let sit for the night then dip fry the turkey, then rub a butter cajun melt over top and serve. stuffing is my favorite side dish to have

brined and raosted - yummy

I love baking my turkey in the oven - can't beat the aroma it gives!!! Dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes - the whole works. Although my family has gotten smaller - still cook the same amount each year!

Baked in the oven with LOTS of real butter and cooking wine. Favorite side dish is my mom's candied sweet potatoes!!!!!

We roast the bird with herb stuffing. My favorite sides are mom's gravy and homemade cranberry relish-to DIE for! Especially good on sandwiches the next day!

My favorite side dish was a Sweet Potatoe casserole my mother made with crushed pineapple mixed in and other spices. It also had mini marshmallows melted on top of it...I always look forward to it!!!YUM YUM

Deep Fried marinated turkey and Sunday Sweet potatoes. A Thanksgiving meal is not complete without those!! :) Gobble Gobble

We always bake our turkey. I like to slip pats of butter under the skin and put celery and onion inside the turkey to give it more flavor.

I love oven roasted turkey and of course dressing with lots of gravy.

Our favorite side has become sweet potato dumplings, it has started a new tradition with my family-all four generations. Hopefully this year the 5th generation will like it when he gets to try it for the 1st time.

bake long and slow

Fried turkey.. its so tasty and juicy! But my favorite is the leftover turkey for turkey sandwiches the next day!!! Favorite side dish... grandma's dressing... :)

We love love love to deep fry our turkey! My family's trick is to coat the turkey in yellow mustard before dropping it in the fryer! It is soooooo delicious!

I love deep fried turkey. My favorite side is mashed potatoes with gravy....yummy! I can hardly wait!

This is very exciting! My favorite way to prepare my turkey is to take a lemon, an orange, a small onion and cut each in quarters, put inside the turkey. Cover the turkey, with butter and salt and pepper it. Put it in a bag, and then in the roaster for the amount required by the weight....it makes the turkey SO moist and juicy, without a tangy 'citrus' taste to it. My father-in-law does his turkey like this and it's incredible. Of course, it goes along great with a sweet potato casserole!!!

I don't really have just one favorite side dish as they are all so great when sharing your Thanksgiving with your family. Turkey just wouldn't be good without some delicious gravy to top it off though.

Oven roast turkey - with a coat of bacon! Yes, after buttering up the turkey and adding all the savory seasonings,I then cover the turkey in strips of bacon! It helps keep the turkey moist and gives it a great flavor!

Roasted turkey with oyster stuffing! Side dish is my Mom's candied yams.

My favorite side dish is macaroni and cheese. Hands down. I could eat the entire thing by myself!

Oven roasted turkey with sage dressing. Don't forget the gravy!

Turkey marinated overnight in salt water is delicious. My favorite side is my grandmother's dressing!

Oven roasted turkey with savory dressing.

I love oven roasted turkey with fresh cranberry sauce!

Love turkey cooked any way possible but really love the all the sides- mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, fresh cranberry sauce the list goes on and on! Happy thanksgiving!
