Stay tuned for another fun giveaway.... on Friday!

I love to simply bake our turkey in oven in baking bag with butter and seasoning...never fails...Favorite side dish for our family in Cornbread dressing....yummmy Happy Thanksgiving to all

Alton Brown has truly taught me most of what I know (scientifically) about cooking....make your turkey foil tent first (shape over the breast), cook uncovered for 1 hour at 500 degrees to get brown, then cover breast with the tent, and cook until 165 in the leg. :) Great promo Butterball!

Fried turkey soaked in a brown sugar and bourbon brine.

I love a turkey, seasoned with poutry seasoning, touch of garlic salt, pepper, and a stick of butter, then slow cooked for 6-8 hours until so tender it melting in your mouth. Add stuffing with giblets and gravy.

This is going to be a great Thanksgiving! I am the proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren. 2yr old, 2 week old and one on the way, due in Feburary! My favorite way to cook a turkey for my family is to: Coat the bird in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, honey and salt and pepper. Stuff it with chopped celery, onion and pineapple that has been mixed with Pepperidge Farms Herb stuffing that has been premoisten with butter). Top the bird with a mixture of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, your favorite spices, honey and sliced apples. Place in a turkey bag, place this in a covered roaster and cook @ 400 degrees for 3 hrs. Depending on the size of the turkey. Remove from oven, cool for about an hr. and enjoy with the rest of your fixings!! Happycamper2012

I found a secret for a moist turkey and it is so easy and it works. It may sound strange and you have to kick everyone out of the kitchen or they will think you are crazy, but you put mayo on the turkey. Just smear it all over the skin. It does not change the taste, but it makes the turkey super moist.

First year without my husband who passed away in April. Going to be tough, but still very thankful for my son and his family. My family's favorite has always been chicken cassrole, instead of dressing.

Turkey corn bread stuffing mash and sweet potatoes collards, corn green beans sweet tea oh my. drooling now
