Holiday Craft: Make this Christmas train

Jessica Greene, who owns Bull City Craft in Durham, shares this cute Christmas craft, which will keep little hands busy and creating. This cheerful Christmas train is fun to make and play with, thanks to wheels that move!

Christmas Train

Materials needed

Free download of the Christmas Train
Copy paper or cardstock for printing train
Crayons or markers
Hole Punch
5 paper fasteners (brads)

Optional supplies:

2” circle punch
Sequins, glitter and glue for extra holiday sparkle!


Color the Christmas train with crayons or markers.

Cut out the train.

Cut out wheels, or use a 2” circle punch to punch 4 wheels.

Punch a hole in the center of each wheel, and in the 6 spots indicated on the train.

Attach the back of the locomotive to the front of the box car with a paper fastener.

Attach wheels to train with paper fasteners.
