Holiday clearance sales

Here's the place to post the holiday clearance sales you find! There should be deals on everything from Thanksgiving to New Year's themed items within the next week so please post the clearance deals you are seeing.

This is the time to stock up for next year on wrap, bows, decorations, paper products and more. You can also stock up for holidays like Valentine's Day. Buy marked down solid red colored items for Valentine's this year and green clearance items for St. Patrick's Day. That works really well with the bags of red and green M&M's (if you can keep from eating them before Valentine's!)

And before you get too excited, the 90% off Target Christmas clearance in the picture above is from a few years ago. I am still using bows and wrap from that fabulous clearance sale! It will be a couple weeks before Target gets that low on their clearance, if they even go to 90% off this year.

Food Lion had Christmas cookies for $1 a package in the bakery and other holiday stuff for 50% off.

CVS at 40/42 was at 50% off all holiday including cans of pumpkin, Ocean Spray cranberries, winter boots, rain boots, perfume and makeup holiday sets, candy and more.

Walgreens has a good supply of Halloween candy 50% off.

I will be searching for lots of white Christmas lights once I get back in town next week for our Aug 2013 wedding. Please let me know if you guys have spotted anywhere that has them left! :)

I went to Target today thinking the Christmas candy and the Glade and Febreeze holiday candles would be reduced further than they were before Christmas. Although there was some candy marked down to 50% off, most was still at 30% off - what it was before Christmas. Couldn't find any of the Glade and Febreeze holiday candles left (except a single one - but all my coupons are for a quantity of two...); just a bunch of empty shelves. :(

I went out today for a little bit...either I am coming down with something, or I am completely "shopped out". I didn't see anything that really thrilled me. Got some wrapping paper and bows for next year.

I bought a really pretty wreath I wanted before Christmas for $9.99, some LED lights for the tree for $4.99, & then Grinch pj bottoms for $4.98 @ Wal Mart this afternoon.

the christmas trees on display at walmart were 75% off on December 22nd, As long as you were willing to take it down yourself. I was able to snag a 7.5 foot full tree for 25 dollars.
