Holiday clearance sales

Here's the place to post the holiday clearance sales you find!  There should be deals on everything from Thanksgiving to New Year's themed items within the next week so please post the clearance deals you are seeing.

This is the time to stock up for next year on wrap, bows, decorations, paper products and more. You can also stock up for holidays like Valentine's Day.  Buy marked down solid red colored items for Valentine's this year and green clearance items for St. Patrick's Day.  That works really well with the bags of red and green M&M's (if you can keep from eating them before Valentine's!)

And before you get too excited, the 90% off Target Christmas clearance in the picture above is from a few years ago. I am still using bows and wrap from that fabulous clearance sale! It will be a couple weeks before Target gets that low on their clearance, if they even go to 90% off this year.

So - what clearance deals are you finding this week?

CVS in Clayton is at 50% off and they still have a lot of candy and decor.

Just came from the K-Mart on Western Blvd in Raleigh, they have the holiday Glade 4-pack oil candles on an end cap on sale for $1.50 a pack. If you have the $1.00 off 2 coupon, this is a decent deal for a nice splurge. They had many pine and mocha ones. Target was $2.12 each and Wal-mart was $2 each. Can you tell these are my quilty pleasures? Thoroughly enjoying them at this moment. Happy holidays All!

Bath and Body Works is having their annual 75% off sale. If you go don't forget to search for printable coupons online first.

HT in Fuquay has wrapping paper for 62 cents. They have shopping carts of candy as well. The candy didn't seem like that great of a deal. Not sure how much off but, bag of peanut M&Ms $2.49.

Bed Bath & Beyond has their online Christmas decor marked down 50% and some even cheaper in stores. With all their 20% off coupons and $5 off coupons it can make for some great deals :) http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/stylePage.asp?RN=452&

Kiddza - that's weird, because when I walked into the HT on Maynard/N. Harrison, they had several shopping carts full of Christmas candy and stuff as soon as you walked in the store, but there were no signs on any of the carts on how much the discount was, and no prices on anything. *rolls her eyes* I brought this to the attention of the gal who was covering the self-checkout lanes, and she said she had nothing to do with it, but would let her manager know. On my way out, although there was still no signs on what percentage the items were marked down to, they had been priced, and were far from any bargain - even with a coupon. Sad. (Definitely didn't appear to be even close to 50-70% off.)

Will stop back for the paper towels, though - thanks for the heads up about that!

CVS in Lillington (yes, I was in Fayetteville at a quilt shop today and stopped there on my way home :) had 50% off Peppridge Farm variety cookie boxes for $3.25; Crockpot brand Crockpot 5 QT round with glass lid and removable crock for $15.00; the WOW size box (30 oz) of Russell Stover was $9.99 (reg 19.99) AND I got a $2 off that item from the CVS scanner when I scanned my card - you guessed it, I bought that huge box LOL!

They had all their christmas candy on 50% off too, I did not indulge in those ;)

Bounty napkins - 300 pack - after 25 cent coupon doubled - 70 cents...not too bad. Harris Teeter again. ALSO...all Starbucks Christmas stuff 50% off...NICE!

Harris Teeter on Tryon/Walnut in Cary is offering Christmas candy 50% off & 75% off all other items. I picked up two rolls of Bounty Paper towels 95 cents w/out coupon - after coupon a mere 45 cents for two rolls!!! Like yee hah...bought 7 (2) roll packs! Sweet deal!

Darn...I just reread my post...I meant CHRISTMAS candy. My daughter has been sick and I had a stomach bug and now my husband has it so I think I'm entitled to that flub...haha.
