Holiday celebration comes early for ailing Charlotte ‘Christmas lady’
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Halloween is days away, but one North Carolina neighborhood is already celebrating Christmas.

A Charlotte neighborhood decorated their homes with reindeer, nativity scenes and more for Michelle Fadel, who is known as “the Christmas lady.”

Fadel is battling cancer and doctors said her days are numbered. She may not live to celebrate Christmas this December.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway heard about the neighborhood effort and helped donate decorations. The Speedway has a Christmas light display every year.
