Hoke Man Charged With Sex Crimes Against Child

— Cumberland County detectives on Sunday charged a Hoke County man with committing sex acts against a child.

Investigators said Marshall Fontana Wiggs, 53, of 110 Spacer Dr., forced a child to participate in sex acts with him on Feb. 9.

Wiggs faces one count each of first-degree statutory offense, second-degree forcible sex offense, first-degree kidnapping and taking indecent liberties with a child.

He was being held Sunday in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday.

    LOCK HIM UP! Throw away the keys. People like this makes me sick that they go after young children. Put him in prison for life without parole.

    I had only heard bits and pieces of this when I heard it first on the news last night... for a second there I thought they were saying the dude that played Det. Fontana on Law & Order was in Cumberland Co. jail for sex crimes... I was like what? btw I am blonde and only caught bits of the story at first... lol
