Hip hop concert caps Packapalooza party

A concert headlined by NC State alumnus Rapsody and featuring 9th Wonder, Petey Pablo and Nappy Roots will cap a full day of events on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh Saturday, the annual back-to-school party for students at North Carolina State University.

Packapalooza celebrates 125 years of Wolfpack history
RALEIGH, N.C. — A concert headlined by NC State alumnus Rapsody and featuring 9th Wonder, Petey Pablo and Nappy Roots will cap a full day of events on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh Saturday, the annual back-to-school party for students at North Carolina State University.
About 50,000 students, Wolfpack fans, Triangle residents and music lovers are expected to attend.
Wolfpack athletes will be on hand to sign autographs along with Harrison Rhodes, an NC State student and driver of the No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity series.
Vendors of food, goods and services will line Hillsborough Street from 2 to 10 p.m.
