Hillsborough police searching for man who robbed hotel
Hillsborough police are searching for a man who they say robbed a hotel early Monday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Hillsborough police are searching for a man who they say robbed a hotel early Monday morning.
Police said the man entered the lobby of a Holiday Inn Express at 202 Cardinal Drive at about 2:30 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
The man then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
A police dog was able to track the man’s scent to the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex, but police were unable to locate him.
Authorities said nobody was injured during the incident.
