Highs in 70s should chase away Monday blues
Grumpy about losing an hour of sleep over the weekend? The forecast for the next few days should cheer you up.

After a beautiful weekend that reached sunny highs in the upper 60s, Monday promises to be even warmer.
Clear skies and a high of 71 degrees are expected in the Triangle on Monday.
“We’re going to have just a really pretty day for today,” WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said.
Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week, reaching 76 degrees. That’s well above the normal temperature of 62 degrees, Gardner said.
But things change on Wednesday.
A front will move in, bringing rain and cooler temperatures.
“Behind Wednesday’s front, temperatures are really going to crash on Thursday,” Gardner said.
Rain should begin in the afternoon, and cold air will follow. Thursday’s high is forecast at 45 degrees.
A rebound begins Friday, with temperatures slowly rising into the normal range in the 60s.
“We’re not going to hold on to the 70s permanently just yet,” Gardner said. “It’s still early March.”
