The Wade Edwards Learning Lab in Raleigh will offer six weeks of enrichment and academic summer workshops for Wake County teens.

The low-cost programs offer students an opportunity to hone academic skills, get ready for the new school year or try out a new interest or trade. The programs begin June 22 and run through the week of July 27. They are open to rising seventh graders and up.

Topics include Explore Engineering; Creative Writing; Math 1, 2, & 3; Yoga Boot Camp; Hi-Tech Teens; Skills to Pay the Bills; Pinterest Party; and more. Most workshops are $35 and are half day. This year, the learning lab is partnering with Wake County 4-H to offer the iThrive Academy free to qualifying families.

Registration is live on the learning lab's website, where you also can get more information.
