Hidden History's Heather Leah

WRAL multiplatform producer Heather Leah was awarded the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Entertainment and Media Award by Caswell-Nash Chapter, NSDAR in a virtual ceremony on December 11 for her series on forgotten Triangle area landmarks entitled “Hidden History."

The NSDAR Entertainment and Media Award recognizes a program or member of the film, radio, or television industries for outstanding work that promotes education, historic preservation, or patriotism.

The award was presented virtually at the December Caswell-Nash Chapter meeting to Leah, who shared with members how she started the series and how she uncovers some of the history she reports on.

The Caswell‐Nash Chapter, located in Raleigh, is one of the largest DAR chapters in North Carolina, with over 200 members ranging from college students to retired women who have given decades of service to the community. It is part of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR).
