Henderson police arrest three in murder at Masonic Lodge

Henderson police arrested three people this week in connection with a February 2012 murder at the Beacon Light Masonic Lodge.

HENDERSON, N.C. — Henderson police arrested three people this week in connection with a February 2012 murder at the Beacon Light Masonic Lodge.

Jerry Olandes Wright was killed Feb. 24, 2012, at the lodge, at 1204 W. Andrews Ave.

Cheek, 17, has been charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, pattern of gang activity, felony riot and discharging a firearm in the city. He is currently jailed without bond.

Peace, 19, of 277 Faulkner Drive, was charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, pattern of gang activity, felony riot and discharging a firearm in the city. He was being held in jail without bond.

Holden, 19, of 198 Cone Lane, was charged with felony inciting to riot, pattern of gang activity, and injury to real property. He has was being held under a $30,000 bond.
