"What is not mentioned in this story is that the three perpetrators attempted to pull an armed robbery on a man earlier in the evening, but he scared them off by pulling out a job application and flashing it at them."

The story does not tell you that this is the SECOND murder charge for 'Corey Demel Cheek Jr., a 17-year-old from Henderson, now has two first-degree murder charges for homicides happening 12 months apart.'

Oh how I long for the good old days when there was 15 minutes of local and 15 minutes of national news, which was actually enough. (disgusted20100

My guess would be a very small percentage of us out here remember those days. But you are right, it was more than enough!

"WRAL, Do you have an editor or proof reader at all? :(
    signofthetimes"

Apparently they think those 2 things are unnecessary....

Also based on their ages right now we will hear a sob story about how young they were at the time, how they didn't know better blah, blah, blah......

One more example of the 24/7 entertainment industry. Have to have "breaking news" every five minutes whether or not there is actually a story or not.
