Help a Mom: Which toys were hits under the Christmas tree this year?

Posted December 31, 2013

Hoot Owl Hoot

Now that Christmas is past us and the kids have had about a week with their new toys, which ones are hits and which ones are duds?

At my house, we've played the cooperative game Hoot Owl Hoot, a gift for my four-year-old, many times in this last week. And she's spent a lot of time in her new castle play tent. My eight-year-old, a lover of all things soccer, has plowed through books written by Olympic gold medalist Alex Morgan. And we've played a lot of Iota.

With a year of birthdays and other holidays ahead of us, I'd love to know what's been popular at your house?

3 year old got an awesome cash register that helps him with early math. We have played a lot of store. Hungry Hungry Hippos was a surprise hit. And the movie Turbo.

My almost 2yo loves her new veggies that stick together with Velcro so she can "cut" them.
