I received this email from a reader last week. She'd like to unload some clothing in junior and young adult sizes.
Here's what she wrote: Have you heard of any consignment event(s) or shop(s) that accept junior size clothing?
Many seasonal consignment sales in the region do accept clothing up to size 12 or 16. But, consignment sale shoppers with kids older than five or six know that the selection gets smaller as the size gets bigger. I've always guessed this has to do with the fact that older kids wear their clothes longer so fewer pieces are consignment sale quality.
Still, I know that there must be some great consignment stores and sales out there that feature a great selection of clothes for tweens and teens.
