Help a Mom: Need ideas for active preschooler, 11-month-old, six-month-old

Here's her post:

Help! I need ideas! I have an active 3 year old boy who has a serious case of cabin fever, an 11 month old non-walker that wants to be down, and a 6 month old that likes to be held. Do you have any ideas of activities in the area (we are in [Fuquay-Varina]) that would be safe for all three kiddos and as stress free as possible for Momma?

My first thought: Get them outside as much as possible! And also ... this time will pass very soon!

I recommended parks and playgrounds (you can always check our database) and Go Play Outside Now in Garner. The Around Town gallery at Marbles Kids Museum is great for this age group. There's enough to keep the three-year-old busy, plenty of things the 11-month-old can pull up on, and lots of action for the six-month-old to watch. The Museum of Life and Science also has a wonderful area for younger kids inside its building.

Pumpkin patch season is nearly upon us as well, offering all sorts of outdoor activities. I'll have our Halloween and fall fun database updated in the next couple of weeks. Start looking for those to open in early to mid-September.
