Help a Mom: How do you mark the last day of school?

As the school year winds down ... at least for traditional calendar students ... lots of families are looking for ways to celebrate the last day of school.

As the school year winds down ... at least for traditional calendar students ... lots of families are looking for ways to celebrate the last day of school.

I know that I'm very lucky that I'm always at the bus stop when my own grade schooler steps off the bus. In past years, we've had friends over for water play and watermelon or gone out for smoothies with other friends on the last day.

Does your family, street or neighborhood celebrate the big day? If so, how?
