I received this email from a mom this week. She's looking for birthday party ideas for her grade schooler. Here's what she wrote:

My daughter is going to turn 6 on Oct. 20. Can you please ask your readers about different birthday party locations and ideas?

We do have a birthday party database, which lists venues, entertainers and suppliers across the Triangle.

From my point of view, the kind of party that you plan depends on your budget, your family's traditions and your kid. Do you want to spend a lot of money on a big party outside the house with lots of friends or would she really prefer just a few friends for cake and a movie at your house?
