Coupon policy during Super Doubles:

* HT should be Super Doubling coupons worth up to $2 face value. This means that a $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00, a $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00 and a $2.00 coupon will double to $4.00!

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has always worked in the past).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per household per day. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have twenty $1 coupons and twenty .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 coupons that are under $1 and also super double another 20 coupons that are over $1. It's 20 total coupons that are $2 or less doubled per day.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three. They will accept 2 printable coupons per like item, per store, per day, according to their policy.

* You can use a manufacturer's coupon AND a Harris Teeter ZVR digital e-coupon on the same item!

* Be sure to get rainchecks for the items that are on sale and out of stock. Rainchecks at Harris Teeter do not expire so you could use them at the next Super Doubles if you have coupons to go with them (which often happens).

FYI... I'm just back from the HT at Ten-Ten/401. One of the refrigerated sections was out. So, no juice, cookie dough, yogurt, etc. anything else that is in that area. All items have been removed and will have to be re-ordered since it may have gone bad. It did appear they were putting out other items which was awesome.

Also, some random (non-employee) guy was walking around the store asking shoppers if they paying for their groceries in cash. So beware and be careful. The manager is aware and is keeping an eye out. I love this store. They are so nice and always on top of things. They really take care of us customers.

Just so everyone knows, you can use a Smithfield bacon coupon on HT Bacon and save a few bucks! Smithfield makes HT bacon, it might not be the same cuts, but to save 3 or 4 dollars its worth it!

  • Packy Feb 21, 10:23 p.m.

No it did not double which it should not have per HTs policy. I was saying that i had forgotten their policy on internet prints so i jipped myself out of around $4 in the end. :(

I am very new to shopping with coupons. Will the BOGO work with the coupons for the General Mills Cereals? Do you buy 3 and get 3 free and still receive the deal below?

springtime - the HT policy is that they accept 2 identical internet coupons per product per day. They should not have even accepted Packy's 3rd one. You should probably read through the whole HT coupon policy. It's not very long. It would definitely help since you are new to this:

    http://www.harristeeter.com/promotions/online_coupons/coupon_policy.aspx

You did a great job on your totals - especially since it was your first time with super doubles, springtime! Congrats!

  • springtime0327 Feb 21, 4:29 p.m.

Packy...does the 3rd internet coupon normally not double if on the same item or are you just saying that is what happened in your case in error? New to all this. I got $59 down to $6.53 but it is my first time and trying to figure it all out.

  • Packy Feb 21, 3:59 p.m.

I just realized something... I used three internet coupons for the same product and one didn't double of course. My total would've been $1 and some change for over $50 worth of product had I not gotten that product. GRRR!!!!!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Feb 21, 3:56 p.m.

Caroline - in the past, they would get a truck in on Friday nights and Saturday morning early would be a good time to go. I have not checked with them recently but that was the schedule a few months ago. Good luck!

  • CarolineCJ Feb 21, 3:35 p.m.

Saturday will be my first chance to hit super doubles. I plan on going to the HT in Fuquay off ten ten. Does anyone know when their truck comes in or if they are still pretty stocked? My boyfriend and I have been sharing a car and I have hated not being able to hit SD's early!
