I moved up the brag thread so you can keep sharing your deals and see everyone's great buys! Here's the place to share your great register totals, funny stories, coupon disasters and all things Super Doubles at Harris Teeter this week!
Good luck and have fun!
Here are the totals for my shop on Wednesday morning at the crack of dawn!
Subtotal before sales and coupons: $63.72
Total saved: $63.34
Total paid: 38 cents!
% Saved: 99%
As you can see from the grocery and receipt pictures above, I bought milk, yogurt, cheese, applesauce, 100% juice, mango salsa, pancakes, butter, spices and hair care. The only reason the candy bar is there is because I had a negative balance and had to grab something to get into the positive!
I used a combination of coupons, HT ZVR digital e-VIC coupons, rain checks for the pancakes ($2.50 - $1 coupon from the DeWafelbakkers calendar they sent a couple months ago with coupons = .50), Sorrento cheese sticks (BOGO raincheck - $1 coupon = .50 each) and a competitor's coupon.
There are a ton of good deals with this Super Doubles event and I look forward to shopping Thursday after the class in Fuquay!
Thanks to all of you for sharing your great deals and for helping to answer questions.

Your Savingstar coupons don't come off at the store, those accumulate and you can draw the money out through paypal when it hits $5 or more. They are really like a cash bonus since it does not inhibit your use of paper coupons and ZVR coupons at HT, it's like three savings on the same products sometimes :)
Same with Ibotta - another level of savings on some items that just takes the savings up another notch :)

I was at the HT in Fuquay on Main street tonight after the class. It was soooooo quiet and they were out of a ton of stuff but I still managed to use 17 coupons and the cashier was very nice.
appstate - Savingstar coupons do not come off at the register. They get credited to your savingstar.com account in a couple weeks. Once you reach $5 you can cash it out. See their website for more info.
I also suggest you call HT customer service about the ZVR's and hopefully they will credit your card with the amount that should have come off so you don't have to make a special trip back in to the store. Good luck!

I'm scratching my head on this one...but for $6.56 after taxes I got SUSHI (wine tag), .25 lb roast beef from the Deli (wine tag)two packs of hamburger (on sale, wine tag), 2 bags of 8 O'clock coffee, Stouffers lasagna, 3 Hormel Complete, 2 Franks Red Hot Sauce, 2 Kikkoman soy sauce, Radiant Tampons and Hershey's Simple Pleasures (raincheck), Kraft Fresh Take!!

Meredith, the HT at 401/1010 and the one at Tryon and Walnut (in cary) are both larger overall with a better selection than the North Hills HT (to me). Although N Hills is 2 story, they just don't carry as wide a selection. They are very nice at that store, though!
Thanks again for the help everyone!

One example is the Carnation Instant Breakfast powder that my husband drinks every morning - 365 days a year. He uses one container every two weeks! Regular Price $6.69 at HT ($5.30 on sale at Target). $1.50 coupon doubled making each can $3.69, which is a good price for us. So I'll be stocking up. This item will never be free.
I'd have to be at the store prior to 7am if I wanted to buy some of these items, so I go in the afternoon to buy the other good deals and get the Rainchecks. Sounds like many shoppers at 7:15/7:30 missed out but hopefully you asked for rainchecks.

You said the one at North Hills is a small store? I'm curious if the stores near you are bigger than the ones in Raleigh because North Hills is the biggest Harris Teeter I have ever seen, it's 2 stories. That's my normal store mainly because it is so big so their stock seems to last longer.

Has anyone had trouble with this coupon not doubling? By process of elimination at CS, we think these are the two coupons that did not double for me. They gave me cash back for the difference, because HT is great about that, but I'm still curious to know for sure if these were the ones, and why they beeped when scanned. I bought the lower sodium variety, which were $2.69 each, but think the wording on the coupon was "any Kikkoman soy sauce" so that should have been OK.

I couldn't agree more. I had something in my cart yesterday and changed my mind at the last minute and put it back myself. I can't STAND when people put something in the wrong spot.... and that is why *I* have total control of my stockpile. *evil laugh here*
:)

2 poise pads, 2 worsteshire, 4 cans rotel, 2 boxes cheerios, 4 marchuran noddles, 3 boxes mac & cheese, and a couple other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.
OOP $4 and some change with coupons, RR, ECBs and a total off next order....saved $45.00. Cashier said that most people don't use coupons right (or don't know how to use them correctly) and that I had the best total she'd seen so far... lol she must NOT have met the "Faye's" of the world...because I'm sure Faye could've gotten it a little lower. :) That IS a 90% savings though now that I think about it...not too shabby. :)

I may have a q for you. email me at nakabinichols@gmail.com and I'll be happy to put it to you in the mail first thing tomorrow unless you want to pick it up (I work on Wake Forest Rd, near the North Hills HT and the one on Falls of Neuse.)
I was able to find another coupon, but would like to thank you very much for the offer. That was very kind of you.

I didn't do bad at all this morning...all my ZVR's came off without a problem, the only thing is once again all the baggies were sold out and I need them for daycare. =( Hopefully will come back in.
Here's my haul: 2 Heinz gravy, 5 packs of Pepsi, 2 Hefty trash bags, 1 Motts Applesauce, 1 Cheerios, 1 Pampers Wipes (.50Q plus .50ZVR), 2 Oreo grabs, 2 Pantene products ($2.00 Q plus $3.00 ZVR), Fructis Hair Treatment, Fructis Shampoo, Ester C ($3.00 ZVR plus $2.00 Q), - my total OOP was $30.23, but the sodas were a chunk of that and I didn't have the ZVR for Garnier Fructis products, also the Ester C is not cheap but I take it daily (was $3.69 after my stack).
