Harris Teeter Super Doubles brag thread!

I moved up the brag thread so you can keep sharing your deals and see everyone's great buys! Here's the place to share your great register totals, funny stories, coupon disasters and all things Super Doubles at Harris Teeter this week!

Good luck and have fun!

Here are the totals for my shop on Wednesday morning at the crack of dawn!

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $63.72

Total saved: $63.34

Total paid: 38 cents!

% Saved: 99%

As you can see from the grocery and receipt pictures above, I bought milk, yogurt, cheese, applesauce, 100% juice, mango salsa, pancakes, butter, spices and hair care. The only reason the candy bar is there is because I had a negative balance and had to grab something to get into the positive!

I used a combination of coupons, HT ZVR digital e-VIC coupons, rain checks for the pancakes ($2.50 - $1 coupon from the DeWafelbakkers calendar they sent a couple months ago with coupons =  .50), Sorrento cheese sticks (BOGO raincheck - $1 coupon = .50 each) and a competitor's coupon.

There are a ton of good deals with this Super Doubles event and I look forward to shopping Thursday after the class in Fuquay!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your great deals and for helping to answer questions.

Harris teeter in fv was busy this morning. They are having issuse with scan guns scanning the coupons.

HT @ North Hills had trouble scanning my Hefty trash bag coupons, but it finally worked after several attempts.

HT in Durham at Homestead was the busiest I've seen at a SD event so early!

Woohoo! What a happy haul today :-) 3 Diet Pepsi 2L, 3 Hormel Compleats, 2 Kikkoman soy sauce, 2 Maruchan Yakisoba, 2 Hefty freezer bags, 1 Eucerin, 6 Uncle Ben's rice cups, 2 Vidal Sassoon, 2 Wholly Salsa, 2 Birds Eye spinach, and 2 Mott's Snack 'N Go

All for a whopping .21 cents!

My best trip ever!!!!! $72.94 for$2.05 oop:)))) I got milk, sausage, cabbage, potatoes, butter and lots more.

I was there this morning as well standing in line. I wonder if by chance we were in line together???

I got my H&B items today as most of those were free...very little food this trip

4 Maruchan Yakisoba noodles, 2 hefty bags, 3 bottles Nivea body wash, 4 cups uncle ben's rice, 2 vidal sasson, 2 hormel completes, 2 biz powders, 2 duraflame fire starters, 2 poise pantiliners and fructis styler. Total saved 64.36 Total OOP 8.99 with a $3 catalina that I will use on my next trip. It's a bit more than I had planned on it being but how can you complain about saving over $60??? :)

BTW I have NEVER gotten up to go to a grocery store so early in my LIFE! I can not BELIEVE I was able to do it!

Let's see: 2 Hormel Compleats, 2 Hefty Freezer bags, 1 Hefty garbage bag, 1 Secret Clinical Strength, 1 Nivea Men's Body Wash, 1 Vidal Sassoon Conditioner, 1 Smart Balance Kid's Milk, 1 Cooked Perfect Meatballs, 2 Rotel Tomatoes (we make lots of chili), 1 Oreo's G&G, 1 mini Busy Bones, 1 bag of Chock Full of Nuts, 2 BIC Soleil Razors.

I spent $42 OOP but I need to contact HT. My ZVRs didn't work and I wasn't going to burden the cashier with it. It would have been a pretty decent trip though....

ZVRs weren't coming off at the Falls of Neuse and Durant HT either. Check your receipts!!

Wow - you all are doing great this morning! Thank you for sharing all your great totals!

Stephanies - The customer service desk handles ZVR issues and they probably could have just refunded the money for you. Definitely call customer service, though.

All my ZVR's came off at the 401/1010 location this morning. I had a very good shop. I love it when a plan comes together! lol. I'll post my totals and items purchased in just a bit. Need to get one off to school.

Matrix - 21 cents?? Awesome!

germanirene - you saved $70 this morning - holy cow!!

Packy - great savings AND congrats on dragging yourself out of bed this morning! Looks like it was worth the effort!

ZVRs weren't working at the HT at North Hills either this morning but the manager took care of it while I was still checking out so I didn't have to spend an extra second there :) There were probably 20 other coupon shoppers there when I was there at 7:30. Before coupons total was $54.54. Oop was $8.28. Considering I got Vick's cold medicine that is originally $8.99 and Advil I think that was a pretty good trip!
