Smart Shopper: Good Deal

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

CVS has allowed in the past purchases on separate days towards ECB or the reward deals - your "tally" will be at the bottom of your receipt ( ie, what you have earned and/or what you need to buy to earn the deal )

Just Save's email specials have many times been good thru Tuesday

JTLNSW, thanks for the tip on the Magnum bars at FL! I think I still have a couple of the $1.25 coupons left.

We'll I'm going for the Frito Lay bags, crescent rolls and eggs.

JDOUGLAS- I love those Magnum bars too! Maybe next time. Food Lion has them on sale, around $3.50 I believe.

I totally agree. I see on here (and other blogs) sometimes where it clearly seems they only joined to bash couponers.

I too never knew you had to purchase both items in the same transaction. When they had a milk deal, like recently, I bought one on Saturday for my household, and when my in-laws told me they needed milk, I went back and bought the other at the same price. No other VIC card, just went back. However, doesn't mean that I'm being dishonest.

Zoso62 I disagree. I think most are honest but there are a few exceptions. That is life. But if you feel that way why are you reading a blog about coupons? I would think you would avoid. Have a nice day!

Just like mrschizzy going back and getting more cereal at the evic special price after her husband already got it. Do you seriously believe that it's just 1 evic card with 1 address? lol. Harris Teeter just does accidentally sell more at the special price.

"I am sure it just means they are using a 2nd or 3rd VIC card which is for an invalid relative."

This is why I dislike couponers. Most of them are dishonest.

"When you say "I'm definitely getting on the crescent and cinnamon rolls! Willing to go 2 days to get both deals for them." what did you mean by that? I didn't get that particular offer, but usually the e-mailed offers have a limit (often limit 2) and to get the offered price on 2 of an item, you need to buy both in the same transaction." -DrD

I am sure it just means they are using a 2nd or 3rd VIC card which is for an invalid relative.
