Smart Shopper: Good Deal

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

What deals did you get this week?

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

DianeNC, I have noticed that other people are getting wine deals, just not the chocolate with them

  • DianeNC Jan 31, 2:27 p.m.

TOMEKK11 - Check your E-Vic coupons, because I received a $1.00 E-Vic for Vaseline Intensive Care which I'm going to use toward the $4.97 special on this item that I received. There also was a $1.00/1 manufacturer's coupon for this product as well in the 1/26 Red Plum insert, which will make the deal even sweeter.

I also got a great offer for Friskies canned cat food for 10/$4.50 - hard to find them at $0.45/can nowadays, and I have a buy five/get one free coupon for this, too.

If you're planning to purchase Pop-tarts from the E-vic deal, the larger package is a better deal. The E-vic is for the smaller box of Pop-tarts but the extra that comes off for the E-vic is working or the larger box (& they're on sale for $2.50)...works out to $2.24 a box.

LORAWATSON - You're still getting chocolate and wine each week?? Too funny, LOL. (I'm super jealous, but still think it's funny!)
