Harris Teeter & Lowes Foods weekend specials - MILK DEAL!

Smart Shopper: Good Deal

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

My favorite e-Vic deal this weekend is a gallon of Harris Teeter milk on sale for $2.87 on Saturday and Sunday. There is a limit of 2. Most e-Vic members here in Triangle will have the same deal. Some members who are outside the Triangle may only be able to get this deal on either Saturday or Sunday so check your e-mail from Harris Teeter to see which deal you received.

What deals did you get this week?

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mails from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't already receive the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites or call the customer service number on your rewards card:

Watch when shopping at Lowe's, Twice I have been overcharged, The first time I was charged 70.00$ for 1 pound of swiss cheese, yes you read it right, And just last week when they had the certain meats 5 for 20.00$ I took the flyer with me and was looking for the pork loins they had advertised and saw the sign where they were, I asked the man behind the counter which pork loins were on sale, He said they had green dots on the package, none of them did, So I told him he needed to remove the sign and that was deceiving, so I went and got my things , went to check out and wasn't watching the cashier, wont make that mistake again, When I got home and looked over the receipt , I saw they charged me full price for the meats I bought, which yes I had the green dots on them and they also overcharged me for potatoe's .. so beware when shopping there

If you got the Dial hand soap deal, there is a $1/2 coupon on coupons.com

FYI - milk will be on sale at Walgreens starting on Sunday for $2.99 so if you can't make it to HT this weekend for the $2.87 deal, you can still get a good deal at Walgreens.

twoboysandadog and senglish27529 - yes, yes I did do the same thing last week. lol Luckily I realized it at the register and had them take off the items that were not going to be on sale until the next day. So glad I had not made a special trip to HT just for those items.

I'll probably run by HT tomorrow to get the milk deal and the free Karma water but otherwise I didn't get deals for anything I buy.

twoboysandadog -- I think Faye confessed here that she did the same thing a week or two ago. :-)

be careful with the weekend deals and make sure you look at the date of the special, i went to HT at lunch to grab milk and the special is only for tomorrow :(

chichimama - you can use both the sale and the E-Vic as well as the manufacturer's coupons for the Progresso soup. I did it on Wednesday. I bought 10 cans and used 3 of the .50/2 manuf coupons from the paper last week, the $2 off 8 ZVR and the Buy 2 Get 3 free sale to get a fabulous deal on 10 cans of Progresso. Make sure you also load the $2 off 8 e-coupon from SavingStar.com to sweeten the deal even more.

I wonder if the $2 off 8 Progresso soup EVIC can be used with the B2G3 deal going on?
