Faye, thank you so much for the heads up about the Sparkle paper towels deal. It was great being able to purchase 2 of the 8 packs for less than $4 total today. I had forgotten about the ZVR coupon. What a pleasant surprise!

I had the Sparkle ZVR, but 'used' it at the last SD event, so it's been out there a while. Still a good deal if you need paper towels (not like they 'go bad'), I'll pick up some on the way to my parents' today.

Will prob take advantage of the sour cream & hummus when we get back into town :)

I got a HT evic for an 8" ice cream cake for $9.97 - savings of $9.02. I also got a ZVR for this last week for $1 off so total $8.97! I'll be picking up an ice cream cake tomorrow for father's day Sunday!

I only had the Bounty ZVR as well :(

  • DianeNC Jun 14, 2013

I think I've got the mfr coupon for the Sparkle paper towels, but the ZVR that I got is for Bounty. Still might end up being a decent deal, though!

Aside from the All, water, paper towels, and sour cream, I got a bizarre assortment of stuff, none of which I've bought, some I've never heard of! Hummus, Annie's organic shells, organic duck cra*kers (really?), and Kar's Sweet & Salty Mix.

Very happy about the water and sour cream, but even more excited about the Arm & Hammer at Lowes. I think I have a coupon somewhere...

Thanks on the freezing of sour cream. I'd forgotten that expiration dates can be long...I'll check the dates and stick it in the back of the fridge!

caramel - once I have confirmation on HT SD, I will post it in a thread. Thanks for the info!

In my Lowes Foods e-mail, I received Arm and Hamer laundry detergent 50 oz for $2.88, limit 2. There is a .75/2 coupon from 4/14 SS.

Que - I have tried to freeze light sour cream and it was a runny mess when I thawed it. May have been ok if re-blended and used for cooking but I won't try to freeze it again.

I heard super doubles will be next week. My HT in Wake Forest said they didn't have the ad but that's the rumor.

  • jdouglas13 Jun 14, 2013

que, check the dates on the sour cream. Unless they are trying to move some short-dated stock, sour cream can have a surprising long expiration date.

JMHO, but I wouldn't freeze it at all.
